Happy Hydros, LLC was formed in 2007 by owners Mark & Teal Scholl in rural South Dakota. With the help of family & friends construction was completed over the winter months and production started in the Spring of 2008 with just 2 bays offering only tomatoes. In the Fall of 2009 we added 2 more bays and another pack house. This provided us with 1200 square feet of growing space and allowed us to diversify and include a variety of  lettuces, cucumbers, grape tomatoes & herbs. We take great pride in supplying fresh, pesticide free produce across the great state of South Dakota.

       In the spring of 2015 we suffered substantial  wind damaged and had  to rebuild the original first 2 bays of the greenhouse. It was during this period we decided to expand and add the processing facility. Our sister company, Grandma D's Kitchen, LLC is a certified kitchen specializes in small batch processing. We offer a variety of our own products for retail sales & wholesale distribution. We also offer Co-Packing services and manufacture several South Dakota  made products for other local entrepreneurs. We can assist with cost of production analysis, recipe multiplying, testing requirements, packaging, labeling and much more!
